Gay pride took place in the center of Minsk in October 11. It was dedicated to The International Day of Coming-Out. The parade was organized by the Belarusian initiative for sexual and gender equality. Representatives of the initiative participated in the Pride. The movement "ANTIFA" and "Socialist opposition" supported this action also.
Participants of the Pride passed from the Yakub Kolas square up to October Square, the march ended at the square near the building of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus. About thirty people participated in this Gay Pride.
This Pride was held for the first time after a six-year "silence" of Belarusian homosexuals.
