The 155th round table will take place, in the oldest and most famous LGBT organization in Russia that is a Center for legal protection of Saint Petersburg, called WINGS.
On-going round -table meeting sessions are both, social and cultural events. There are various topics, which are discussed between the Center’s directors and forum’s guests.
On the Friday this week, Apr 24, gay activists and representatives of other social organizations of Saint Petersburg plan to discuss possible alternative sexual orientation of President Barack Obama, so much rumored by the Western press. During the Jubilee Year of Gogol, Northern Capital could have ignored potential topic of gay passions of the famous Russian writer. In the center of attention, there will be friendship, while in Rome, with the famous artist Alexander Ivanov and his novel "Nights at the villa". One more topic, during this session would a topic of the draft this autumn. At the end of the session, there will be a discussion.
We also, would like to remind you that WINGS had been officially registered on Oct 9, 1992 and is the oldest gay activist group in the modern Russia.
