Active members of the Russian LGBT society get prepared for the "Rainbow flash" - an international action that is to take place on May 17th, 2010 - the International Day Against Homophobia, officially recognized in 6 countries of the world.
Last year under the aegis of the Russian LGBT Network the "Rainbowflash" for the first time ever in the history of Russia took place in more than thirty Russian cities. Gays and lesbians launched into the blue sky rainbow coloured air balloons with "their messages to the world". The action in Saint-Petersburg gathered about 250 people.
This year "Rainbowflash"'s organizers count on even more active role and participation of the people. You can participate in this humane action simply by filling a rainbow coloured air balloon with an inert gas and launching it into the sky with a postcard attached, writing a message against homophobia.
The action will take place on May 17 all across Russian Federation at 7:00 pm. Your friends are welcome to participate in it!
