Rainfall and mosquitoes did not deter from taking part at the 7th women's gathering which was held on an island in Tver area last weekend. The situation of the very place of the gathering was kept in secret to avoid the attention of mass media.
This year 120 people took part at the gathering most of whom came from Moscow and St. Petersburg. Some of participants came from Minsk, Tver, Nizhniy Novgorod and other cities of Russia and neighboring countries.
Extensive programm of the meeting (Zlata Linnik's show, contests and concerts) was implemented despite the terrible weather. Although some people left the meeting before its end because of the weather, permanent organiser of the gathering Elena Botsman concluded that the event was a total success.
There were gay men from St. Petersburg at the event for the first time in its history. The gathering was finished in its traditional way: enourmous feeling of unity at the campfire after torchlight procession.
