The murder of Maxim Zuev, a 34 year old popular blogger and businessman from Kaliningrad has recently been solved. A rent-boy stabbed him to death and is sentenced to 11 and a half years of incarceration in a facility with strict regime.
As we've informed you earlier this year, the body of Maxim Zuev, the author of a popular local Internet blog, was found on March 18th, 2010 in his apartment on Krasnaya street in Kaliningrad with signs of violent death - stabbings in the neck and torso.
RIA Novosti report that the investigation has revealed the fact that on March 13th, 2010 Mr. Zuev invited in his apartment a rent-boy. Later that night they had quarreled and the 19 year old boy made no less than 26 stabs to the body of the victim.
Having done the murder, the killer stole valuable things from the apartment of the victim - watch, notebook, mobile phone and money.
In recent years mass-media have many times informed the audience on gay hate murders committed by strangers: In spring 2010 jobless Ukrainian was sentenced to 23 years of living in colony for murder of 2 gays in Saint Petersburg.
At the same time a 37 year old Muscovite was murdered for "indecent proposals". In the end of 2009 Dagestani murderers of Alexey Belyaev, an advisor of vice-chairman of the State Duma, were found guilty of murder and sentenced to 16 years of imprisonment in a correction facility with strict regime.
