On September 7, the LGBT organization "Vyhod" (Exit) and Russian LGBT Network, supported by the European Commission, will invite journalists to participate in a seminar on the "LGBT movement in Russia, the interaction with the media, language of hate, stereotypes and facts about gays and lesbians".
The seminar will be lead by experienced trainers and gay activits - Igor Kochetkov, a representative of the Russian LGBT Network, and human rights activist Valeriy Sozayev.
On September 9, in conjunction with the project "InfoVyhod", an interactive meeting will be held. Everyone who is interested in how lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transsexuals live in different corners of the world is invited.
"What development tendencies exist in the LGBT movement around the world? Which countries are at the forefront of the liberation movement, and which are on the verge of recognizing various rights? In which countries are representatives of the gay community protected and do not need to be afraid of discrimination?" These and other questions will be discussed during the discourse, announces the official site (automatic translation >>) of the organizers "Vyhod". Details can be obtained at the address: lgbt.vyhod@gmail.com.
