SAS Scandinavian airlines are planning to conduct the first in history gay wedding on the board of the plane. The ceremony is going to be held during a Stockholm - New York flight on December 6th 2010.
The company started to receive requests from the gay couples willing to marry since the 1st of September. Through the specially-opened web-page visitors can vote for the best couple. The couple that collects the most votes will be able to marry on the board of SAS airplane. 5 couples from Moscow and Saint Petersburg have achieved a semi-final of the competition.
Andrey and Vladimir from Saint Petersburg (on the photo) who are going to celebrate their third anniversary are among the semi-final contestants.
Andrey says "The most I like in Vladimir is the way he loves me".
"Andrey is able to appreciate my good points and forgive the bad ones" says Vladimir.
"Gay marriages are not legalized in Russia yet, therefore, participating in this competition is a great chance for us to formalize our relations" both say.
The names of the winners will be announced shortly.
