Russian LGBT-Network's Conference in Moscow
22 Dec. 2010
The Russian LGBT-Network published a press statement about its 3rd Annual Conference held in Moscow on December 17-18, 2010. A training dedicated to the issues of work with supporters and volunteers took place a day earlier.

LGBT-Net.ru reports representatives from 11 Russian cities (Moscow, Pskov, Tomsk etc.) participated in conference's work , their names are not disclosed and conference's work most likely was kept a secret too.

It was specified (automatic translation >>) that the meeting summarized the results of its actions in 2010: "Main attention of LGBT Network is to be given to encouragement of volunteers' movement, quality improvement and easier accessibility of social services".

Further to these issues such as "anti-gay crimes, uphold the right for GLBT people on public gatherings" are on LGBT Network's agenda.

The Russian LGBT-Network was established in 2006 and today it has 13 regional divisions. The activity of its Saint-Petersburg branch is well-known to the audience of www.gay.ru. Up to now there were no information on work of its Moscow branch.
