"April's week-end" - an international women mini-football championship, is to be held in Podmoskovie in the beginning of April as a gay event in the framwork of the RWAHO-2011.
The agenda of the Russian week against homophobia is still under consideration by the Russian gay community in "Rainbow association", its organisers plan to hold literary and musical soirees, several cinema shows followed by open discussions, seminars and lectures.
Soccer championship "April's week-end" welcomes women teams from other Russian cities to come to Moscow on April 3rd, 2011 - to support in sports excitement the struggle of the GLBT people for their rights.
The "Rainbow Association" (Moscow based) is a union of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders, established to support and eradicate all forms of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity, disseminatie tolerance in the Russian society and facilitate GLBT community's active role in the social life of Russia. In Moscow in the framwork of the "Rainbow association" activities one could participate and meet with members of "Megapolis" group of mutual aid, photo exhibition "Love is stronger than...", musical and literary soiree "Rainbow without limits" and in other gay actions.
