As always, the "Parents’ Club" encourages parents who are currently experiencing difficulties in getting on with their children to participate. "We are aware of all hassles involved however even a couple of hours spent on giving the problem of genre issues a careful consideration and talking it over with other parents in same situation shall be of great use... Our Club has been created for the purpose of liaising people with similar problems, rendering support to one another" - appeal activists to prospective participants.
The project was initiated in 2010 by a volunteer’s mom, who approached "Exit" with regards to help parents to accept their children, to help children to go through coming-outs to their families and to help families to maintain problem-free relations. "Parents’ Club" of St.Petersburg LHBT will now assist in learning how to deal with children’s genre issues.
