Rainbow News31 cases of violence: from intimidation to murders - Russian LGBT Network sums the outcome of 2013

Russian LGBT Network has transferred its special report "Crimes of hate linked to sexual orientation and /or gender identity of the victim in 2013 in Russian Federation" to the OSCE, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
The report describes 31 cases including physical assaults, acts of intimidation, threats and a murder.
This document is expected to serve as a source for the annual report to the OSCE. Currently, its Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights is preparing the annual report on hate crimes in 2013. This report will sum up the crime statistics as well as the methods of its prevention.
LGBT Network's report was published for the public access the day before that.
