The 26th XMAS Tournament @Frankfurter Volleyball Verein took place earlier this month in Frankfurt. The Russian team participated in this event traditionally.

Around 1000 athletes from Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Slovenia and other countries competed in 10 sports. Participants from Eastern Europe and Africa have got some financial support. This time the Russian team consisted of 21 athletes who competed in badminton, volleyball, tennis, box and fitness and won the gold medals in badminton and tennis.

The championship's closing gala party attended by crowds of people was held in a night club of Frankfurt.

During free time breaks one could savor eine Glueckwein at the Xmas fair, buy some new things in shops along the bright colored streets of the Alt Stadt or make a tour around small and cozy towns in vicinity to Frankfurt which attract crowds of tourists with its antiquity, coziness and tranquility of life.
