Rainbow NewsFemale team from Moscow won the IGLFA European Championship III

Female team Kriliya (Wings) from Moscow has become the winner at the IGLFA European Championship III for LGBT in Hamburg. The other Russian team Atlanta was fourth. The mixed Russian-German team among men got the fourth place as well.
The IGLFA European Championship III for LGBT has taken place in Hamburg from June 11th to 14th. It gathered athletes from 30 countries of the world. This wasn’t the first achievement for the Russians. Their debut at The Championship II in Dublin in 2013 was also victorious. Female team Alternativa from Saint Petersburg became the champion, winning 6:5 over Britain, the motherland of European football.
The International gay and lesbian football assossiation (IGLFA) held the tournament, that is uniting almost 100 clubs and teams from 30 countries of the world since 1992. This year the Championship welcomes 400 LGBT athletes and their heterosexual buddies.
This Hamburg trip of the Russian teams was performed with assistance of the Russian LGBT Sports Federation.
