Rainbow NewsVladivistok winter festival discussed 'myths and facts of rainbow love'
21 Feb. 2016
Vladivostok is summing up the results of its first winter LGBT festival "Light of the East", that has taken place February, 12-14. It was dedicated, according to Russian LGBT Network, to "love in all its manifestations."
The festival hosted seminars, movie shows and poetry nights, accompanied by discussions. The program even included a culinary competition. In the leisure time the "Light of the East" participants were sculpturing snowmen and playing snowballs. Having shed off the stress, they felt united and powerful and joined a seminar "Me and a Different. Me and the world. The interaction through touch." - LGBT Network is reporting.
There was time for creativity - on the poetry meeting. And even a master class on felting technique. The next similar project is planned for autumn, 2016.
