The gay life is largely concentrated around capitals, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev etc., where most gay venues are located. As everywhere in the world, people are much more tolerant to gays and lesbians in larger cities. The places listed on our pages are generally safe for gay visitors, unless indicated otherwise.
