Rainbow News"Open your heart and win!" - Russian first Open LGBT Games start in Moscow

"Open your heart and win!" - this is the motto of the first Russian Open LGBT Games, starting today in Moscow. Throughout the day guests and participants will do registration and accommodation. Also provided is an excursion program and a presentation of the Games. At night there will be the grand opening ceremony, followed by the evening acquaintance party.
And there are ones to be acquainted with and whom. Coming for the Games are more than 300 participants from 11 countries and 22 regions of Russia. Competition will be held in 8 sports. About 15 events of educational, human rights, cultural and recreational significance are planned.
Famous and distinguished guests include Greg Louganis - an Olympic champion and the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport of the Netherlands Edith Schippers.
It should serve as a reminder that the Games are held for promotion of healthy lifestyle, physical culture and sport among members of the LGBT community in different cities of the country, and for reunion of association of clubs, sections and groups, that develop a variety of sports among lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
